An introduction to our collection

I make beautiful soft furnishing for dogs, cats and people that is cozy, stylish and practical and is made to perform over time.  I am a proud supporter of US manufacturing and of our fabric-based blankets, pillows, and snuggle sacks that are made with love in Massachusetts to the highest standards.

Whether you have a little French Bulldog pup that just won’t go to bed without their snuggly crate blanket or a German Shepherd that loves nothing more than to sit on their throw next to you on the sofa, the fact is dogs love blankets.

I am the owner of WilsonPerkins Lifestyle Management company. I had a corporate career as a leader in Information Technology and was the proprietor of an Interior design and Home Accessories shop.  In 2003 I became the human mom to Archie – my beautiful Hungarian Vizsla – and naturally searched the globe for beautiful and practical accessories for him.  Archie was a grand mal seizure dog who spent a lot of time in hospital, so keeping him warm and cozy was a necessity. I struggled to find  a pet store that had beautiful comfy blankets, so necessity being the mother of all invention, I decided to create them myself, and then came the request from friends and family.  And that’s how Dogs People Shop was born. Sadly, Archie is no longer with us but he is still an inspiration for my fashionably unique blankets, snuggle sacks and pillows here at Dogs People. 

Aside from pampering your pet with their new comfy items, you can update your interior at the same time.  I believe you should spoil your furry friend and yourself.

Archie was the inspiration behind Dogs People so I have a lot to thank him for, not just because he was the ace blanket tester but because he literally turned my life upside down in more ways than one and for the better!
